My playthrough of Friday the 13th on NES. This is not a guide, walkthrough, or tutorial, it's just me playing through the game as best I can. If you have any play tips, childhood memories, or interesting stories about the game please share them in the comments below.

This isn't one I played as a kid and had no experience with it. I wasted so much time trying to figure it out on my own. Lighting all the fireplaces, exploring the caves/bottom woods, and fighting Pamela Voorhees are all pretty much useless. Eventually I looked up some tips. Getting the torch early on was the biggest help, along with understanding how Jason moves around the map.

I believe this playthrough is of my first time beating it which was several weeks ago. I continued playing in an attempt to save all kids while losing no counselors. I got better and was able to at least save all the children but was never able to save everyone. And honestly, I don't find it that enjoyable of a game to keep spending time with it so I think it's time to move on. Sorry, counselors!
