My playthrough of Ninja Gaiden for NES using only the sword and no continues. This isn't a guide, walkthrough, or tutorial, it's just me playing through the game as best I can. What do you think of the game? Do you have any play tips, childhood memories, or interesting stories to share?

I owned this as a kid and it is one tough game even with the secondary weapons! After beating it normally I challenged myself to do it without any special weapons. Having no projectiles or spin-slash to rely on makes certain sections extremely challenging. I succeeded last week and tonight did it without using any continues.
