My playthrough of Battletoads. This is not a guide, walkthrough, or tutorial, it's just me getting through the game as best I can. If you have any play tips, childhood memories, or interesting stories about the game please share them in the comments below.

Battletoads is widely considered to be one of the most difficult games ever made. I never played it as a kid but after beating Mega Man someone challenged me to beat this without using warps. I accepted that challenge and can say without a doubt this is the most difficult game I've ever played. It took me about three weeks of playing almost daily before beating it, and even then I'd been using the DOWN+A+B extra lives cheat so I didn't feel like that really counted. Another week of practice led me to finally beat it this evening completely legit. No cheats, no warps, and no continues.
