"Beautiful Doom" Mod Arsenal/Guns/Weapon Set Showcase in Doom (Made by "Jekyll Grim Payne")

Beautiful Doom is a gameplay mod for the GZDoom source port created by Jekyll Grim Payne. The core change is providing new graphics and animations for all monsters and objects, while affecting gameplay as little as possible. However, the mod also provides optional modes that alter the behavior of weapons. It is designed to work with other mods that provide their own custom content.

Beautiful Doom is an all-encompassing total enhancement mod for GZDoom, aimed at making Doom feel, look and sound better, while keeping the original balance and gameplay intact (or tweaking it with some of the available options). Smoother animations, some improved sprites, particle effects, physics-based gibbing, as well as high compatibility with other mods—those are some of the features.

For those, who want to shake things up a bit there are three weapon sets (can be changed from Beautiful Doom Settings):

-The Vanilla Guns only look better but act the same as original Doom guns.
-The Enhanced Guns introduce a number of changes: for example fist and pistol are slightly more effective, and many weapons have alternative attacks which, while not really more powerful, provide certain tactical variety.
-The Modern Guns is a new weapon set with more modern features such as recoil, reload, more complex mechanics, but they still fit the same concepts as the original guns. Choose whichever you want!

This release is compatible both with GZDoom 4.6.0 and 4.5.0. GZDoom 4.5.0 is the minimum requirement.
The mod is only compatible with GZDoom and will never work with Zandronum.
