"Mutiny" Mod Arsenal/Guns/Weapon Set Showcase in Doom (Made by "Woolie Wool")

Mutiny is a gameplay mod for ZDoom that pits you, 15 years after the events of Doom II, against the forces of the rebel marine general Giuseppe Eduardo in his plot to take over all of human space. What this means in practical terms is marines, marines everywhere! You fight an onslaught of human enemies and war robots that are faster, deadlier, and smarter than the forces of hell. Mutiny delivers tense, high-stakes gameplay where clever tactics, a good aim, and a bit of patience lets you dispatch your relatively frail human opponents with ruthless efficiency, and the careless end up scattered in hundreds of juicy pieces on the floor.
This is basically reskin pack for all the weapons and adds a new weapon for every weapon slot, replaces every enemy with a new one, except for Hell Barons which are only slightly modified. Adds new hud and a optional "realistic" difficulty" for those who like games fast and deadly. Mutiny also makes use of GZDoom's built-in inventory system, giving you an arsenal of power-ups. Also replaces the bosses with insane new ones. Unlike other mods, It is possible to play this mod without the weapon/monster randomizer, just use the base wad without the spawner. Although it will make it difficult to find the new ammo type (6.68mm only the infantry that replace Hell Knights can drop it)

OVERVIEW:

The idea's pretty simple. Instead of a lone marine going up against the entirety of Hell, instead you are a lone marine going up against the entirety of the UAC. Given that, monsters shift around to be human and robotic, as obviously the UAC has no demons in its ranks. The armory has been switched around a bit, with among other things, grenades and automatic rifles being added in. Weapons are rebalanced as well, and there's some nice shiny sprites for them. I like shiny sprites. I also like guns.

Well, with that in mind, might as well jump right in.

VERDICT:

Mutiny is an extremely unpolished gem. While the idea is nice, the execution is flawed to the point where playing is an exercise in patience. Monster balance is screwed up massively, and weapons are overall weaker. Can it be fixed? Sure. Will it be easy? Hell no.

Play it if you want. But don't expect a smooth ride.
