How to install and configure Compiz in Ubuntu 12.04, 12.10, and 13.04. In this video I show you how to get your desktop configured like mine with Transparent menus, Application animations, Wobbly Windows, Blue Drop Shadow, Expo, and Transparent Application Moves.
I also show which settings to stay clear of because Compiz can break your system.

Install instructions for Ubuntu 12.04 and below:
sudo apt-get install compizconfig-settings-manager compiz-plugins-extra

Install instructions for Ubuntu 13.04:
sudo apt-get install compizconfig-settings-manager compiz-plugins
sudo apt-get install unity-tweak-tool

Transparency setting for menus:
dropdownmenu | popupmenu
I set mine to 80
