Weiner Takes All was released as a budget game. Just how budget? Well, when it was released in 1996, it carried a $10 price tag. You can decide for yourselves whether or not it would have justified the cost of entry.
It's essentially a clone of You Don't Know Jack!, but with Beavis and Butthead offering their color commentary on loads of things - some related and others completely irrelevant, to what is going on on the television (think South Park: Chef's Luv Shack but with lower production values and you've got the right idea). Their lines are pretty funny, but even though the game apparently has over 700 questions, the moron duo have far, far fewer lines, and they start to repeat pretty quickly. The questions are also a bit all over the place: some of them are extraordinarily difficult and obscure, and others can be answered by the braindead.
I enjoyed it way back, but like the other games that GT put out after acquiring the license (B&B Do U and Bunghole in One), it feels like a cheap and quickly made cash grab that never comes close to matching Virtual Stupidity in terms of sheer quality or genius. Oh well, it's fun while it lasts, and that's not very long. As long as you don't expect too much, you'll get a few laughs out of it, I'm sure.
