Ben The Exorcist is a comedy/horror game hybrid created by Wraith Studio. In this indie adventure, you play the role as Ben who has been tasked to banish the Witherspoon family home of five trapped malicious spirits.
This run is single-segment and presented itself as a deceivingly difficult game to speed run; the player must acquire something around 40 items scattered within a large house, where nearly all items can spawn in any of three specified locations at different times in the playthrough. This forces the runner to constantly keep track of a plethora of items in short-term memory because only the first two minutes of the game can be relatively consistent. That being said, the efficiency of a run is almost entirely at the mercy of a player's ability to multi-task and maintain a mental-checklist.
The run starts on the first frame of gameplay and ends on the frame which blacks-out the screen at the end.
