Don't Spill Your Coffee - WR Speed Run - (03:19.332)
307Don't Spill Your Coffee was created by Team Meeting Games for the 2015 Game Jam. You play as a chunky coffee-junky who struggles to maintain balance as he attempts to activate a turnstile through an I.D. card strapped to his butt to get to his meeting on time. You must control both his legs and his upper-torso simultaneously to prevent a terrible collapse.
Despite the title of the game, this single-segment speed run has no intention to save the janitors from a messy cleanup of afternoon joe; instead, it features my character chugging the bitter java relentlessly to gain speed to reach that meeting quicker. The timing of the run starts at the frame where the text 'level 1' is visible in-game and ends at the frame that displays 'level 14' with the dance party scene. This means that the end-screen displays count toward the overall time and must be skipped as soon as possible.
This game is just the public version, but the developers are working on a Supremo Edition which will offer much more content to this silly idea.
Sadly, the day after this video is posted, I will be returning to my university school-work which means that I will be posting videos slower than usual. However, I will continue to respond to comments as diligently as I always have.
