This is part 3, from the 35th Minute onwards.

For my 40th birthday I designed an Escape Room in my shed/office for my friends. It used a mix of an Unreal Engine 5 project that I developed and physical items and notes hidden around the room. My friends split into teams and each got an hour to try and solve it. This is the highlights.

The whole thing is themed around me , with lots of sneaky references to my streams over the past year (in fact most of the puzzles I copied from games I streamed, as a little nod back).

Original I had planned for this to only be 30 minutes, but pushed it to 40 after one playtest. On the night I gave them one hour, but the program was all setup to 40 (thankfully I added a cheat code :D)

The unreal engine side uses some marketplace stuff from Epic (the TV Showroom and the Paragon character), Cartoon Formula 1991 (by RCC Design). I also used some textures and sounds (I think, I was replacing lots with my own designs) from the User Interface Kit by Christianos Philippos and Visual Novel Framework (Woodsy Studio). I used audio files from the Soniss.com GDC bundles. Bagpipes came from Dar Golan.

Finally this also has some audio/visual reference to our franchises that are the rights of their respective rights holders, but all have been a large factor in my life.

I want to give a huge thanks to all my friends for giving it a go, my wife and kids for helping me develop and test it and for all of you for watching.
