Welcome back guys today I’m looking at Grif Temple – an awesome map made by Caustic Kirby which recently got selected by 343 industries to be put into matchmaking, meaning even if you don’t bookmark this map, it’s likely you’ll find yourself playing this map within the grifball category.

Now as you can see this map is inspired from an old Asain, zen themed temple and has the large open interior to play grifball in. But it’s the aesthetics of the map which made it so popular amongst the Halo community. Not only is the interior of the map detailed, but it’s the areas outside the map which really draw your focus. The view of the mountains, the sun rising over the hill, all make it a calm, yet intense map to play. It’s not very often map-makers play attention to the outside of the map, but Kirby has, and he’s done it well.
