Welcome backs Spartans and spartanesse’s and today I’m looking at a wonderful map called Santorini Vector. Now let me first say that this map has been beautifully crafted and all the feedback the creator has gotten from testing has been used to not only better the aesthetics of the map, but also to make the map play a lot smoother. Get it? Smooth, with the curves… Anyway, on a less hysspeherical note, the map holds a maximum of 16 players, and supports slayer, ctf and strongholds. You can use the ghost and mongooses to your advantage, although you’ll have just as much luck splattering someone as likely as Trump is to become president. So, I’m sure you can see what I’m getting at here.
This map is pretty big, so I would suggest playing with a minimum of 4 players, probably even 6 otherwise you’ll spend most of your time looking for people. Although saying this, with the amount of jumping & boosting you’ll be doing, it’s kind of hard to miss people. The centre tends to be where most of the beef happens, which is good, because it gives you a chance to appreciate the aesthetic effort gone into this main temple. As you can see, the lights sort of resembles something you’d see in a space observatory, and to be honest, are astronomically awesome. The centre temple has a variety of levels, with a nice little gravity hammer hiding in the middle – making it a good area of the map to own to dominate your enemies. Rail guns are also dotted around parts of the map, mainly on the outsides and outskirts, so make sure you don’t stay in the centre for too long.
So, I mean, I can’t really say that much more about this map, apart from – y’know, look at it! The blue fog, the detailed architecture, and just, overall the smart map design makes for a great playing PvP map. So make sure you bookmark this map from my rooster with my gamertag ‘Mark 5m1th’, like this video and subscribe to us for more halo 5 videos and other gaming content! Have a good one guys. Peace out.
