In this let's play Astroneer 0.6.5 gameplay video, we look at:

Rover redesign & better physics - the medium rover and large rover now cost less to make, have been given makeovers with extra storage slots, and now move better with improved suspension, even if you have a chain of 3! You can also now deploy modules (such as the medium printer) on top of rovers.

Basebuilding additions - new platforms in medium, large and extra large platform sizes, plus a new extra large storage that can fit on top of the latter platform.

Power splitters - you can route your power lines through a splitter that allows you to choose the ratio of power each output gets, handy if (say) you temporarily want more power going to your research centre.

This let's play Astroneer gameplay tests all this out, plus discusses a few other Astroneer 0.6.5 changes, manages to find some of the best research items, finds a silly spaghetti-leg bug with the rovers, ignores a buried shuttle, and discovers old saves may not necessarily support all the new platforms.
