In this best RimWorld mods video we look at the new RimWorld Advanced Biomes mod for beta 18, picking the poison forest biome out of the five new ones available:

"Poison Forest: A thick, poisonous forest. The stale air carries millions of fiberous spores. The terrain is soggy with scum and muck. Spiney thickets of poplars cover poison briar and plump fungi. Includies Poison Spores Weather, new butterflies, mushrooms and blue deer."

We build up a quick colony to see exactly what the gameplay challenges are in the RimWorld Advanced Biomes Poison Forest map - including how the colonists all get slowly poisoned by the toxic spores in the air, and need to spend at least half of their time indoors (like the existing short-term toxic cloud event).

The Poison Forest map also has a lot of swamp tiles that make building incredibly difficult - we see if it's better to dig into mountains or just make the best of building in this let's play RimWorld video.
