It's an Avengers kind of day on Between the Streams, with the latest trailer bringing more mayhem, thrills, and a big, cartoony purple guy that sounds a lot like Josh Brolin. We'll be discussing the latest look at the action in Avengers: Infinity War. We don't know much about the plot aside from ethnic cleanser Thanos' coming reign of destruction, but what we almost certainly do know is that a lot of Avengers are going to bite the big one over the course of this two-film arc (the title of the second of which is yet to be revealed), and at least a few are likely to do so when the first film arrives in May.

There's plenty more to talk about this week, of course, including HBO's plan to spend hundreds of millions of dollars on Game of Thrones spinoff series, which is part of the premium cable channel's ever-escalating war against Netflix and its streaming compatriots for all the spoils of streaming land. Also this week, we'll talk about John Wick: Chapter 3, Deadpool 2 reshoots, Sony's growing Spider-Man villain universe, Margot Robbie's Tarantino film role, Handmaid's Tale season 2, the latest 007 auteur, and so much more.
