Ubisoft released a remaster for Beyond Good & Evil on June 25, 2024 and called it 20th Anniversary Edition, even though the game is already 21 years old. I compare this remaster with the original from 2003, both as PC versions. You can see that the textures and lighting have been improved. Native 4K and high frame rates are now offered, which is a step forward, especially compared to the old console versions. However, I dare say that you don't need this remaster (or at least not for 20 euros/dollars) if you own the original PC version, because 4K and high frame rates can also be achieved in the original version. What do you think?
