The Darius Cozmic Collection is an outstanding tribute to Taito's legendary shmup series. Featuring emulations of 7 console releases, and 4 arcade titles, it's a great celebration of the early years of the series.

But as always with packs like this, there's always that question - just how does the emulation stack up against original hardware, and that's what I've chosen to do in this video.

Comparisons of the following titles between the collection and original hardware:
● Sagaia (Sega Mega Drive/Genesis)
● Darius Alpha (PC Engine)
● Darius Plus (PC Engine)
● Darius Twin (Super NES)
● Super Nova (aka Darius Force) (Super NES)

Original Hardware gameplay footage recorded using a RetroTINK-2X SCART as follows:
● Mega Drive: Sega Nomad via RGB
● PC Engine: PC Engine CoreGrafx (with Super SD System 3) via RGB
● Super NES: Super Famicom via RGB

Cozmic Collection gameplay footage captured from a Nintendo Switch via HDMI output.

Watch this at 1080p60 for the absolute best quality!
