It disappoints me so much that devs in the "Tactical Shooter" space haven't taken advantage of the lack of a quality Battlefield Game since BF1.
BF2042, the latest Battlefield was terrible at launch & leans too much into COD & science fiction, BFV was & is "ok" but never reached the heights of BF1, BF4 & 3, let alone Bad Company & 1942.
So millions of players who enjoy large map, objective based semi-tactical shooters with casual mechanics have been left without a game.
Hell Let Loose could have taken the mantel, Squad, and of course Arma, but they've all stuck with their "realistic" mil-sims that will only ever appeal to a smaller section of the marketplace.
All these games need is an extra game mode - with big maps, objectives to capture, squad & objective based spawns, no friendly fire, squad mates tagged, player position on mini-map, the possibility to tag or mark enemies, death cam, points based with a time limit of 25-30 minutes.
C'mon BI, take a risk and create a vanilla server with this game mode for Reforger or Arma 3 & see what happens....
