[BF1] Battlefield 1 Support Class Gameplay Operations and Conquest 1440p60
Here's a small compilation of Battlefield 1 gameplay playing the Support class in Operations and Conquest game modes. I play more of an aggressive style of Support. Some people don't think it's possible, so I figured to put together some video clips to show that Support class can both be fun and useful.
I'm currently taking a break from GW2 due to lack of content and lack of a new PvP season announcement. I'll be back to uploading GW2 videos once there's something fun to do in WvW & PvP.
If you like FPS games, definitely check out Battlefield 1, it's a great game. http://amzn.to/2ga3r4A
My standard Support loadout in BF1:
-MG15 nA Suppressive
-Bull Dog Revolver
-Small ammo pouch
-Limpet charge
-Bartek Bludgeon
I will swap out limpet for mortar only if our team is stuck on an Operations map where counter-mortar is needed (to counter enemy Support players spamming mortar). But limpet charge is my go-to, as you can see from the video. It's fun and creates lots of destruction.
MG15 Suppressive is a fun gun to use. It's not as powerful as BAR for close combat. But for my playstyle I prefer the large magazine and a tad better mid-range gun fire.
There are those that say you have to bipod with it, but I say it's situational. I find bipod getting me killed and separated from the frontline, where I like to be. Strafing side to side is sometimes the only way to beat other classes as opposed to prone and being stationary. You'll just have to learn how to handle the recoil and how to properly lead the gun.
Some general tips:
-Avoid face to face confrontation with Assaults using Automatico and Model 10-A Hunter shotgun. There are instances in the vid where I recognize the Assault so I turned away and tossed a grenade instead. That's smart play, because Model 10-A can 1-shot you within 20m.
-Flank as much as possible. I don't like to stay at the choke points because I know at anytime enemy Assaults could pour through and 1 pump you with Model 10-A. As Support you will lose that battle almost every time.
-Drop ammo constantly. I almost always get top Resupplies at the end of rounds. Dropping ammo is one of the most important things you can do for your team.
-PTFO, while killing people is fun, you should always try killing towards an objective. Clear the path for your team to move through, push for a cap point, clear that well defended spot that your team is having trouble getting through, etc. Playing Support properly, you should have no issues topping the score chart.
Anyways I hope you enjoyed the video. The videos I upload are not for showoff purposes. They're uploaded for fun. I wanted to show an aggressive style of Support play that some say isn't possible. Cheers!
