The "drinking cup with a handle" found in the constellation Ursa Major (Big Bear) points the way to Polaris, the North Star. With a telescope you may find two pairs of galaxies: M81 & 82 + M108 & 109 and might see that the famous double star system Mizar & Alcor is actually six stars! The annual Lyrid meteor shower peaks on April 22nd.
