Why Are Viltrumites So SLOW Sometimes?
One thing that barely gets talked about is how inconsistent the speed of Viltrumites is portrayed.
In the show, they move so fast they’re practically invisible to the human eye. Yet somehow, in other scenes, they struggle to dodge painfully slow attacks or even catch regular people. It’s been confirmed that Viltrumites can move at near light speed.
But then we have moments like Mark failing to catch Angstrom—who was just a few meters away. Are we supposed to believe that Angstrom has reaction speeds faster than light? That doesn’t add up.
