Biker Mice From Mars makes its Extra Life return this year because of its positive reception in our 2019 marathon. While most licensed titles in the 8 and 16-bit era were almost always terrible cash grabs there were a select few that slipped through the cracks and stood on their own as solid titles that are still enjoyable even today. Biker Mice From Mars holds one of those distinctions... and you're probably not even aware it exists.
Based off of a relatively obscure comic and cartoon, Biker Mice From Mars could've been a really crappy 2D beat-em-up game. Instead however what we wound up with was a game that took the concept of motorcycles and ran with it -- we got a racing game. That's an even more dangerous tightrope but this game nails it dead on. If you love Rock & Roll Racing for SNES you'll absolutely fall in love with Biker Mice From Mars too, it plays pretty much the same way and is less repetitious to boot!
Draco completes the game's "Easy" circuit and foregoes the popular "retire trick" seen in normal speedruns of the game. This is done in order to show off more of the game and preserve the experience rather than cutting tracks and content for the sake of time.
