Mercury is a small series of games created by Archer MacLean in 2005. The first game was a launch title for the Sony PSP, and the game later saw a new release on the PS2. Mercury Hg is the third, and currently final as of 2020, game in the series released digitally via Xbox Live Arcade and PlayStation Network. The game is like Marble Madness except with liquid physics instead of a ball.
In this speedrun Draco completes the base game without the DLC stages (of which there are two groups). Many of the levels have interesting workarounds and strategies for quick finishes and Draco shows off several of them throughout the run. Most don't seem developer-intended. This is a very relaxing game with a great soundtrack by Sugar Jesus, so vibe out and watch the goop from the lava lamp slither around, man.
(Also yes we know this game is literally titled "Mercury Mercury" since Hg is the chemical symbol for that element. Ironically, given that this game's levels are organized like the periodic table, Mercury itself isn't a level shown in this run... it's in the DLC!)
