I picked this game as a recording test for WinUAE and I think I must have picked one of the hardest, most unplayable games written for the Amiga.

Although Software Creations did a brilliant job on the C64 version of the arcade classic, they completely dropped the ball on this one.

The scrolling is terrible - as you can see in the video, I have to use the bionic arm as a way to scroll the screen to reveal platforms!!

The collision detection is abysmal too; bullets pass right through enemies on occasion and it's pure luck as to whether an enemy will kill you by touching you. I just couldn't get past the giant robots that raise their arms on stage 3 without losing a life as the arm has a massive hit-box round it. And don't get me started on those sodding mechbots that keep dropping out of the top of the screen - trying to climb up to the final boss was impossible without them landing on my head.

The only redeeming feature is the music score, once again written by Tim Follin, although I still prefer the C64 soundtrack to this.

I think I need some valium.
