I'd heard that a USA version of the game existed and that it had a terrible reputation when compared to the European release and I was interested to find out just how bad it was.

Well, they weren't joking when they said it was bad; it's bloody awful. The sprites are crap, the scrolling is terrible and there's only one music track playing throughout the entire game.

My top 5 "crap" list from the game:

1) The bionic arm is too short, you can't swing and it looks like a dinner fork.
2) Unavoidable death due to scrolling/psychic enemies.
3) The giant chocolate robots in stage 3 (seriously, wtf!?).
4) The massive chocolate statue of Captain Birdseye at the end of the game
5) Everything else.
