If you damage boost off the last attack, you are free to move MUCH sooner than normal. This lets you get into ideal position much faster and, with adequate mashing, you can kill the boss in the first round. If the boss attacks from the right, this strategy will not work. It definitely works with an attack from the left, and MAYBE a vertical attack. I am unsure if this would work in area 11 or not; I don't know how that boss's AI works. If you have to block all of his attacks, this strategy will not be successful on him.
