So I tried Hard and got sick of it near the end, did a standard playthrough, beat the boss there, thought, that wasn't THAT bad, did a hard run, which went pretty well for most of the game, till the end. This game isn't very good.

So first, Easy and medium let you have infinite lives and make all the enemies basically sloths who barely do attack, have any real patterns, the crappy hacking game has no timer, there's basically no stakes. If ya die, you'll just popup where ever, when I thought it'd at least be by the door. Outside of getting used to the controls, this is basically collect things mode.

Hard and like Super Hard I think, I only messed with it enough to get through the first boss and did the other stages but quit doing them. Hard is good throughout most of it. Things actually display patterns, it has some cheap design due to it's poor camera and enemies shooting off screen, with immunity if too far away while still shooting. Basically makes a good platforming section in the final stage turn into the bad kind of design, enemies literally there to knock you into death, or being pointless, like some of them are.

Bosses are fine on hard, on Super Hard they just get dumb. It's kind of like the complaint I'll have after all this for the final boss. You need to be perfect in your execution or you're taking a hit, even then, it just feels like bad RNG, but consistent. Like you have to throw a barrel to interrupt the first boss, if you're not throwing it while ALSO blocking the shots, the 2nd volley will hit you. Even while doing this when I defeated it, it still shot at me before I could get out of the way.

Back to the big issue and why I just don't care to finish it and consider it completed. The final boss is horribly designed. I didn't get to the laser portion, so I don't know how dumb that can possibly get, but the moving left to right with how awkward Spencer is, probably not good. The missiles are fine to an extent. If the camera isn't being hot garbage, you get a tell letting you know it's gonna go high or low when it's a ground missile. This tell can fuck right off if the camera decides it doesn't feel like it. Missiles explosions can also cover up background launched missiles, so that's fun. Above missiles need to be done well or the explosion will hit you anyway. Rest are fine if they actually showcase the hint. The bullets you're supposed to avoid to shoot him with a rocket are complete bullshit. If you're too far away, you'll get hit. If you're right at the edge when it stops, you still have a good chance to get hit anyway. Prior, I wasn't able to latch onto anything, so if it works, great, didn't seem to work for me at the time. The boss can also block you onto the left or right side, basically guaranteeing a hit, which is half you health. Cause why be 1/4th like the rest of the game, when it can be doubled for no reason.

Now, that's just one boss, the game can't be garbage just due to that right? Well it's not the only issue, it's just a glaring issue. The layouts of the game are pretty cheap throughout. The final stage is basically just waiting for shit to occur, repeated traps, just a different element, so poison line, electric line, etc. I went back to look at it's around 15 minutes to get to the boss, so every time I want to try him again, it's a 14-15 minute walk. The bad camera just makes thing so much worse then it needs to be. Like near the end before the boss, ya gotta drop down to a platform or there's laser death below it. So obviously the camera showcases jackshit and you just do a leap of faith. The rest of the section is perfectly fine, even to a point of making the last platform pointless, but doable if you wanted to use it.

It just goes into two forms really. It feels like what you're doing is a waste of time, or the poor choices in level design/bad camera work is just frustrating since the difficulty isn't actually there. I've seen complaints about the controls, but that one is pretty dumb, it's a gimmick game, any amount of research would fix that for you and I think it even had a demo. So derp on that. It still is pretty clunky at times. The grenade is pretty awful, barely ever got any use for the down grenade and getting it where you want it is annoying as shit. Despite most of what you'll be using your arm for, which is blocking bullets, your default is diagonal. So you're forced to press in the direction of the bullet to stop it, pretty dumb.

Welp, I ran outta room.

Let's just say I don't like it, it wastes it's potential in dumb manners, takes good platforming sections and ruins them, has a bad camera and general layout for levels, which I wouldn't recommend. If ya try getting it for steam, ya also have to do some other bullshit like download something to even make it work.

Wouldn't recommend because the more reasonable difficulties are brain dead while the harder difficulties showcase the game's faults, not being worth it.
