Due to how the editing software is, which the last one took like 18 hrs to make a 4 hr video, this one will be split into two parts to load quicker.

This one does some annoying things, but it doesn't come off as bad as specific timed events and most areas were pretty smooth. Most of the new gimmicks are fine, most of the time any issue is usually just bad level design placement or just bad camera issues, like the first one had.

This one is mostly gonna be short as far as description goes. Most of the same issues from the first game follow to this one. The camera is still a pretty big issue, either just being like whiplash or just into pretty dumb situations where you need to be precise, but don't know what the hell is happening.


Example for bad stage layout, this happens a bit more in part 2, you'll reach like a checkpoint, then the game has the platform going away from the player, so you just stand there, jerking it for like 30 seconds for no reason. The game has really weird level design, where you'll go through mostly an easy course, then slap into something unexpected or more difficult, but you still have to go through like a minute of tedious garbage to retry that specific point. Most annoying change is probably the humans you can blow up. They'll usually just wall you until you murder them, usually running for a bit then will stop in place and cower, which they seemed in the first to just keep running, even out to their own deaths. They're pretty good at ruining momentum and I really hate it.

Last negative would be the secret areas. It just spaces out the time more instead of letting you simply just do the stage. To unlock them, which isn't hard when the stage monitor has a ? for the secret level unlock, you basically do like 80-90% of a stage, take the secret route, then you unlock it, which means you get to also replay the stage you basically just finished, again. FUN! Outside of getting the all levels achievement, it's not really all that necessary to do and just comes off as adding filler really.

For some positives, the level design is a bit more cohesive, so you can literally first time a stage and it isn't really all that confusing to just get through, even under par. Could be said it's a bit too easy with those kinds of stages, but I'd rather you do that then get blindsided most of the time, or have things blend into the background in world 3 DARK world. I'd say a majority of stages were like this and that's good.

Wheelchair scientist is pretty cool to just remove all the other annoying enemies from your route and the puzzles involved are pretty good too. The orb is done pretty well, though it feels kind of samey at the same time. If you can hit it diagonal, it's not really that hard to get past those locations without much issue. Everything else is basically fine, not something worth noting, but not a hindrance either.
