So obviously after saying it's not worth recommending, I beat it on super hard, after doing the last segment on hard before hand. Still agree with my statements, Easy/Normal are basically pointless, Hard is probably your best option, and Super Hard is just pretty dumb.

The same issues still apply, but it was enough to go over the 5k limit, so I digress. For bosses, the 2nd pull down boss was probably the worst in the game, since the disc enemies just make it RNG. Usually they'd be like at 89 degrees, so you can't hit them, if they're not doing that, they're walling up the boss or literally going at the top middle location. From watching a no hit, there wasn't anything special outside of JUST DO IT and one rotating the boss with rockets. Nice.

After that, the platoons are still awful, you probably gotta like swing grenades at him and run away in the same motion. Both are awful, but way more doable after you get the rocket launcher. Rest are honestly fine, outside of getting the timing down to throw the barrel on the first boss, rest were just unknown patterns I didn't know existed or the missile change made Pi Pi Pi boss easier.

Last boss is the same nuisance he's always been, you can take up to 2-3 hits, not sure why it sometimes does more. The reason the camera becomes awful is because you go to far left or right when ya shoot the missile, so you're basically forced to stay near the middle of the bosses spawn location. For the horrible bottom row rockets, I put up a marker for reference and it went pretty well. Missed a rocket towards the end, just didn't notice it, boom, still got out. Lasers are actually pretty awesome to get, basically a free round.

I mean once you get the rocket launcher, things become a lot easier to handle, and due to seeing videos of no hits, got some cheesy strats for the last stage to make it less horrible when I failed to kill the boss. The game had a stroke when I got the achievements, so that is why the pause is there, had it occur when I grabbed the last intel I needed too, not recorded, well is, but not in this :p If you get this, I'd recommend playing hard, since everything gets so dumbed down on medium, it's basically for sightseeing. Hard gives semi decent patterns to look out for without being obnoxious and the full gameplay up to the final boss is fine. There's plenty of overall problems that can make it a nuisance, but as long as you get the controls down, most of those won't outright ruin the game.

Probably the oddest choice is the grappling default. While it is ok when swinging, being forced to push forward, going towards the bullet, can be pretty dumb and was probably my most annoying mishap on the last boss. Getting hit by a missile can also lock you out of direction, so if I want to go up or straight, I'll go diagonal then die :( Fun. Options to readjust this would have been nice.

Honestly, considering how the game is, I'd probably suggest stage 5 first so you can just destroy bosses, since your default gun just sucks, then going to 1 and so forth. Vehicles on the map become easier, the first boss doesn't feel like a sponge, 5th is just avoidance and removing screws and the grenades honestly didn't do me that well for the stage, so seems like a good idea.
