I've been having a run of bad luck flying planes recently, with the radio then the VTX crapping out. So although this flight went well for video and control, the Bix kept pitching down, and I couldn't figure out why. Part of the reason I stopped at the 2.5km (when it would have been interesting to see how much further she would have gone) is that I wasn't happy in the way she was flying. At home I discovered that the control horn on the elevator was pulling loose... which explains a lot.

I was really happy to get great video and control at this distance though. bignose13 made me a 5 turn 5.8 helical as well which I'm looking forward to testing at some point
