Well, I did my best. NeonBobertMusic did a fantastic job with this arrangement, but the real problem is just... Fe8 NIMAP. If you pay attention to, for example, my TV World port, you'll notice I had to make one of the bass channels actually use Synthstrings 1. That was not just a choice of what sounded best, but more a -cry for help-. Bass is NOT Fe8 NIMAP's strong suit, so you'll see me using random stuff like, Electric Piano 1, Electric Grand Piano, Synthstrings 1, String Ensemble 1... just an absolute goddamn mess of instruments that under normal circumstances probably wouldn't be a bass instrument. That is how dire it is. Why did IS never put good bass samples into the damn games...
Unfortunately, I inherited my mother's stubbornness, and also would prefer to give out .s files that the community at large can use without feeling obligated to download patches like Allinstruments, or otherwise compromise on rom storage. As I now reflect on it, I'm not sure it's a meaningful purpose or more a self-imposed challenge, but I think I'm too far along to back out now. At least people are putting my efforts to use.
