A playthrough of American Video Entertainment's 1992 unlicensed game for the NES, Blackjack.

I actually did get the ending here, if you can call it as much. The one-line congratulatory remark does leave one feeling a bit underwhelmed.

I've had this game sitting on my shelf forever next to its sister unlicensed title Solitaire, and finally had to give in and spend some time with it. And just like Solitaire, it's not bad at all!

Casino Kid this is not, but if you want a super-simple blackjack simulation that follows the rules and allows you to set win goals, you can do a lot worse than this! For an unlicensed NES game, it's completely playable, and more than that, it's pretty fun. Just don't expect any fancy graphics, cinematics, or more than a single music track.

Of course, you could also just play Casino Kid. It's much easier to find, and cheaper, too.
