Cyberball (NES) Playthrough - NintendoComplete
A playthrough of Jaleco' 1992 NES game, Cyberball.
Played a game on the Advanced difficulty level against I. M. Payne.
Even though this was published by Jaleco, this is a Tengen (Atari) game through and through. It's a port of the arcade robot football game that, similar to Base Wars, puts a slip spin its the representation of a sport by placing it in the future and replacing humans with robots. This time, the football is a ticking time-bomb, and will wipe out anyone holding the ball when it hits critical. It's a neat gimmick, but it doesn't really do much to make it feel like anything other than a regular football game. Still, the graphics aren't bad, and the digitized speech is a neat addition. It''s definitely no NES Play Action Football, but it is fun if your looking game for something a bit offbeat to bring in the season with.
