Floor 8 of episode 3 played blind on expert difficulty. You need to explore deep into a mutant pod hatching area to get the red access card on this floor. There are a lot of barriers blocking the way which need to be deactivated. It looks like something went badly wrong in this area judging by the corpses littered about.
Note - Occasional choppiness is due to the bstone source port. It has a better control scheme than the DOS version which is why I'm using it but can vary in performance and gets choppy when turning and strafing, presumably because the game wasn't designed for that.
