In order to make Ichigo go to where Orihime is, Rukia and the face off against the Exequias, under the command of Rudobon, but the fight is murder than they expected. While Chad and Renji are dealing with the many foes that are delaying their progress, a familiar enemy appears before them. Rukia is battling Rudobon, but she is unable to get near him because of the ability to continually create soldiers. Rukia and the others have defeated Rudobon, only for another enemy to appear.
