Thanks to Wonderweiss, the seemingly-defeated Espada have been freed, and the flames surrounding Aizen, Gin, and Tosen have been extinguished. Just then, the Visored appear on the scene. The Visored have arrived as if to reinforce the 13 Court Guard Squads in their fight against Aizen. They use their overwhelming strength to obliterate a horde of Menos. While Hiyori and the other Visored are dealing with the Menos, Shinji goes to confront his old foe, Aizen. Hachigen devises a plan to defeat Barragan after Soi Fon's Bankai fails to kill him.
