Bleach: Thousand-Year Blood War Episode 2: Foundation Stones - Anime Review
5Welcome to my review of Bleach: Thousand-Year Blood War Episode 2! In this episode we learn about Yhwach's overall goal and become reacquainted with some familiar faces in Nel and Pesche who tell Ichigo and his friends that Hueco Mundo has been seized with their new ruler, Tier Halibel captured. With the help of Kisuke Urahara, Ichigo, Orihime, and Chad agree to go with Nel and Pesche to Hueco Mundo in order to assess the situation. We then see Loly and Monoly attempt to fight Quigle Opie, one of the high ranking members of the Wandenreich, only to be defeated. Apacci, Mila Rose, and Sung-Sun also attempt to fight him, after a flashy scene in which they kill a few Quincies. The episode ends with Mayuri confirming that the enemies are indeed Quincies.
