A cover of the song "Bleak" by the band Opeth, from their album Blackwater Park.
Blackwater Park is easily one of my favourite albums of all time, from one of my favourite bands of all time, and unsurprisingly, Bleak is one of my favourite songs from the album!
I've been wanting to cover more Opeth just for fun, but also for vocal practice. While my singing nor my screams/growls can't compare in the slightest to Mikael Åkerfeldt, I think he makes a good reference for me, with his lower/baritone singing and his lower pitched growls. This is also just a really fun song to learn and play, not too difficult with some great riffs and chord progressions, fun leads to play with my Sustainiac, and as well as having that 'vibe' which is right up my alley
Finally, apologies for the lack of uploads, I've been busy with a lot stuff, and despite this not being the usual type of covers I do (i.e. video game covers), it might not be to everyone's tastes, but I still hope you enjoy this one regardless!
