With the Blindsight ideology, blind colonists gain increased psychic sensitivity (+30%) from Blind Psysense, stacked with complete blindness, which provides a +50% psychic sensitivity boost. This makes them great at psycasts.
You also unlock a blinding ritual that can grant psylinks. Additionally, they receive a +15 mood bonus, keeping them consistently happy. They’re unaffected by beauty, and darkness has no effect on their stats.
However, many skills suffer when they’re blind—especially construction, medical, and combat.
