Rather than pushing forward hard I screen off my side of the pitch to see how my opponent will deal with it. If he makes a whole and sends one player forward I'll probably blitz that and repeat it again, looking for a good opening. The sidestep catcher wasn't intended as the primary scoring threat, but as the opponent left a screen where one section only had one player, I immediately blitz this out of the way, then set up for the pass and catch on the endzone (somewhat safe thanks to sidestep on the catcher). The important part is safely moving the team (taking those moves that don't require dice rolls) around where the thrower is going to make the pass from, in case it fails.
