Blood Knights takes place in a medieval setting where humans and vampires are at war and let's be honest - when aren't they? The main character with a dumb name for the time period - Jeremy (how many historical epics do you see with a lead character called Jeremy?), who is the captain of the holy order . In order to protect the holy relic called the blood seal, he agrees to become bound to the vampire Alysa, whose chose of outfits are rather interesting. Let's that say that large breasted females need a lot more support than she does whilst jumping around. The vampire and vampire hunter end up having to work together when the moon begins to crack apart, causing unpredictable and violent tides. To be honest the plot is rather linear offering no meaningful choices between siding with the vampires or the humans. Character motivations are paper thin, you generally won't care about any of the npc's, to be honest I wanted to help the vampires by the end of the game instead of restoring the Blood seal.
The two characters can either be played in cooperate multplayer or single player, with you switching between them at will. This works well as Jeremy is more of your standard warrior with lots of close range attacks, whilst Alysa has a crossbow and you can literally attack creatures from across the room. Half my time I just spent it playing as Alysa, which makes the game a lot easier with the ranged attacks and overall you will have finished it easily before the 5 hour mark.
Blood Knights is a very average RPG that is over far too quickly. But if you picking it up for a couple of quid then I suppose that it is worth a blast.
