A classic arcade game that tried really hard to be Mortal Kombat, but was anything but! Despite Blood Warrior's cheesy in-game dialogue, goofy looking characters, and fighting moves that were clearly taken from Mortal Kombat among other fighting titles, it honestly is a fun game to play.

Blood Warriors made use of digitized characters, with background characters resembling similarities in their depiction to those of earlier fighting titles like Pit Fighter.

The game's controls are quite responsive, but some characters lacked sufficient fighting maneuvers. The game was actually a successor to the earlier title Shogun Warriors from a year prior.
