Another boss who just stands there hitting hits while transforming.. But Lady Maria does it twice in a row. Get her to half health and you basically already won.

Most of the bosses in this game have the issue.. They don't have enough openings after most attacks but are easy to stunlock to death once you finally do get a chance to attack. Most boss fights are just waiting for them to use one specific move or until they transform and leave themself wide open.

You should be able to land at least one safe hit after move the boss has.. Instant teleport dodges, random hyper armor, cancelling cooldown into other attacks, and being able to mix up any of their moves in any order is just bad game design.
