I like to 100% hard games and play League of Legends.
What a crazy game. Very stylish and violent, I had a great time completing this game the first time through. Everything about the art style was great, especially the soundtrack and sound design. My only big complaint is the lack of mouse support, I don't understand why this game insists on auto-aim only. Let me control where I aim! This lead to some very very frustrating moments while grinding out S ranks, but didn't bother me much when I was playing through casually for my first clear.
Finishing all S ranks was much harder than I expected after beating the game. According to the in-game leaderboards I am the 5th player to achieve this, preceded by Kinda Moderate, Tarakanrip, Jello, and Flashstep. I hit a huge difficulty spike in 3-2, and had to change up my mindset about how to grind for scores. I was trying too hard to switch weapons between kills, but I realized that the "variety" score is mostly just bait. Unless you're trying to get a high score world record, just focus on going fast, chaining your combo, and minimizing deaths. You can S rank every level with a perfect combo deathless whether you play for variety or not.
I wasn't sure whether or not I should cut the deaths out, but the video was an hour long without them so I think I made the right choice. Whenever the video cuts within a level, there is at least one death. You can still see the total number of them at the score section at the end of each level.
Hopefully the next person to try for all S ranks stumbles onto this video and finds it useful for visualizing safe combo paths through levels. This will mostly come down to grinding it out, but if there is a specific question someone wants answered just comment it. I use this account every day and get very few comments so I will be sure to see it.
