BLOOM - A Doom & Blood Episode 1, THE WAY OF THE FLESH
380BLOOM is the DOOM & BLOOD mashup created by a team behind this project led by Drugod, there is a fully functional Episode called 'The Way of The Flesh', played on the Ultra-Crispy difficulty, as many secrets found I could. The episode has a total of 8 levels plus one secret that is a throwback to another game, all of the maps can surely give you a tough time, trust me because they are filled with nasty surprises and ambushes... but it's expected. You should get prepared for a long levels full of mazes that unfortunately include backtracking (a quite noticable disadvantage for me, mostly with later later levels that get bigger) and tons of surprises for you. If you want to play the levels a little bit faster, you do not have to play it on Ultra-Crispy as I did because enemies are quite a bullet sponges, lots of these mid to heavy enemies susrely need a lot of bullets to be taken out. Another thing that you must take into account while playing on Ultra-Crispy is the scarcity of ammunition, the ammo runs out pretty quickly especially for such ammo consuming weapons like Chainguns or Flamethrowers, these love to eat it fast. The levels are about yours survival and trust me that such low ammo consuming weapons such as shotguns will be your best friends during the playthrough, also learn to use your weapons as efficient as possible and watch out for your ammo counter. This time I selected Doomguy (in previous demo playthrough it was Caleb) who received new weapons to his arsenal - a Cryo Rifle, Flamethrower and Tesla Cannon, all of these have separate ammo and have their own traits that affect your playstyles. Freezethrower is a tricky one to use because once target is frozen you need to destroy that ice statue with any other weapon or infighting, good against single targets because freezing enemies take some time but pain chance is quite high. The Flamethrower is quite an opposite to the Cryo Rifle, it deals huge amount of damage and affects every single demon in line of the fire projectiles, try to not burn yourself and of course this weapon cannot be used in water. Last new weapon for Doomguy is the Tesla Cannon, equivalent of this one for Caleb, it is a semi-automatic weapon that needs to be charged a little time before firing but stuns your enemies, alternate firemode releases a much powerful and longer attack. One of the Doomguy's weapons however is bugged and once you pick the BFG9000 do not bother using the alternate fire as it depletes all of your cells with one attack, the primary attack is also quite weak too.
