First of all, finally another Raid Boss that aren't all focused on DPS.

Yes, damage count is indeed still important, but managing buffs and other skills (especially CCs) are equally important here. Your team must be equally distributed for buffer role, who hit boss and who manages the mobs.

There are only one type of mob here: the 'Tower'.
However, this mob can't be left unchecked for too long. For each second it's on the field, it's Area of Effect will increase bit by bit. Anyone that within that area will contribute less Cost generation towards your overall Cost count - and thus making skill released later. Furthermore, any supportive turrets that are within that area will be overtaken by the boss and will attack your team instead. As these turrets launches missiles, their damage to your team is considerably significant to be left alone on its own.

Deal with those rods once it's appear, but all the while keeping close watch and constant attack to the boss. Pay attention to the radial counter beside the enemy's HP as well. These counter is to count how many CCs you have accumulated so far. The higher it goes, the more damage the boss and rods will receive. When it has been fully charged, it will then significantly increase the Gauge, thus bringing the boss ever more closer to its Break state. As for the rods, it will either stagger or decrease their area when those counter is charged.

One saving grace is, the boss will only summon one Rods at a time, and will not summon another while one is still present. Although it is ill-advised, you may consider to simply ignore them and focus directly on the boss instead. However, for this strategy to work you then will be required to manage healing of your team as well, as you will both lose support fire from the turrets, as well as getting flattened by any remaining turrets that is still active.
