Blue Effect: Scariest VR Shooter I've Played So Far
I've played some VR horror games like A Chair in the Room, I've played plenty of shooters, and I've played some horror shooters like The Brookhaven Experiment, and then there's Blue Effect. The name doesn't sound like a horror game and the game's description says that it's atmospheric but doesn't really describe it as horror, only that it will thrill you. Well, I learned the hard way that this game is scary as crap. Sadly, it is another standing wave shooter, so that will turn away a lot of people. Even I have grown quite tired of them, but as long as they have a neat, cool hook to them, then I can deal. Well, the devs didn't lie, this game is crazy atmospheric. I love the sound design and the visuals and they both combine to create one of the most atmospheric games in VR right now.
