Freedom Locomotion: Hands Down, Most Important Thing In VR Right Now
72One of the biggest struggles in VR right now is "how do we let the player move?" Teleport/blink, trackpad/analog stick locomotion, arm-swinger, room-scale, or other. There's a new player in the "other" category called CAOTS and, in my opinion, it is by far the best. It's the best at not making you feel motion sickness, it's the best at getting you some exercise, and the most important, it's the best at making you feel like you're really there. It's not perfect though as it doesn't yet have an answer for jumping in VR and it also limits people with physical disabilities from playing, but that's when things like Blink/teleport come into play.
