BM-800 Pop Filter Plosives and Typing Test - P Letter Poem Alliteration Test
Happy New Year everyone! I got new equipment to improve my production values and make more ambitious projects easier during holiday sales and Black Friday, and one of those additions was an XLR microphone setup. BM-800 specifically, plus a pop filter, and my dad internally repurposed a piece of Kenwood audio equipment from 1980-something to provide the mic with phantom power until I get a dedicated USB audio interface. The result you hear has been run through a parametric EQ and limter/compression chain in FL Studio. For actual video voiceover, I would edit out the more obvious mouth noises and run a denoiser using Edison as well, but you start to get into post editing and a less representative demonstration at that point. Also spoke as I typed something to see how much sound it would pick up from that.
PC specs are a GTX 1060 and i7 4790K with 16 gigs of RAM. Edited and produced using Avidemux and FL Studio.
