What happens when you build half a wall is that the half not built doesn't stop anything walking through. So there are some expansions to clear out, and some walls to finish building, but it's hopefully fine. The base has also worked through the giant buffer of robot frames. Many were given life, a repair pack, and a section of wall to monitor. Most were ground into a yellow paste or however else they're squeezed into the science flask. That may or may not be a better fate than working the solar panel station, can't ask them now.

Many products need steel, including the robot frames, but not green / red / blue chips. So the base spent it's time in the steel shortage manufacturing an accidental buffer of surplus semiconductors. Now I have a decent number of P3 modules I wasn't planning on using or even having, so those plans get to change. The immediate steps still have to be addressing the steel shortage, and I kind of do that, a bit.
